Served as the national Women In IT spokesperson. In this role, Karen was responsible for the direction of and an ex-oficio member of the following committees: - Computer Science Accreditation Council (CSAC) - Information Systems & Technology Accreditation Council (ISTAC) - College Program Accreditation Council (CPAC) - Special Program Accreditation Council (SPAC) - Canadian Certification Council While serving as the Director, Karen led and participated in many college and university accreditation program assessments.
